The Adam's Double Car Wash Grit Guard Bucket Kit turns our wash buckets into the ultimate car washing stool, with plenty of room for you to sit and still have room to rest a towel or bottle next to you. Set on durable easy rolling casters this setup will have you rolling effortlessly around your car while keeping you from straining your back/
Let's face it, a bucket loaded with soap and water is heavy! If you do a proper 2 bucket wash moving all that liquid around is a strain on your back and takes the fun out of washing. Add the double bucket caddy and you'll have the ultimate way to effortlessly move your wash and rinse buckets while you work.
What many people don't realize about washing their vehicle is that often times it's their process that's causing the most damage to their painted surfaces and the biggest reason for swirl marks. This kit gives you the foundation to perform a proper 2-Bucket wash and ensure that you don't undo all those hours of hard work in getting your paint perfect.
GETTING READY
•Place each bucket into each Bucket Caddy.
•Place a Grit Guard Bucket insert in the bottom of each bucket.
•Fill one of the buckets with just water, approximately 3/4 of the way to the top - this will be your 'rinse bucket'.
•Place your Adam's wash pads (sold separately) at the bottom of the other bucket and add approximately 3-4oz of Adam's Car Wash Shampoo (sold separately) directly onto the wash pad.
•Using a heavy stream of water from the hose fill the bucket, making sure to spray into the pad to activate the soap and generate thick lather - this will be your 'soap bucket'.
THE WASH PROCESS
•Start at the top of the vehicle and work your way down, soaping up and cleaning one panel at a time.
•After each panel take your wash pad, dunk it into your rinse bucket, and rub it against the Grit Guard at the bottom to dislodge any dirt or grit.
•Move the pad to the soap bucket, rubbing it against the grit guard once again, and then return to the vehicle with fresh soapy water.
•Repeat this process after each panel and complete the entire vehicle EXCEPT for the lowest portion, approximately the lowest 1/4 of the vehicle should be done last.
•Place your 2nd wash pad into the soap bucket. Add another 1-2oz of Car Wash Shampoo and generate fresh suds.
•Complete the lowest 25% of the car using this pad and the same process outlined earlier, rinsing the pad after each panel.
•DO NOT rinse the vehicle until all panels are cleaned.
•Lastly rinse the vehicle using a heavy stream of water from the hose. Make sure to get soap out of all cracks and crevices including side view mirrors and around door handles.
